Wolf & Cub See the light
Two years since the release of their acclaimed second album Science and Sorcery, Adelaide's Wolf & Cub are back with a cracking double A-side single featuring the tracks “See The Light” and “All Through The Night,” available exclusively through iTunes and Bandcamp from February 6th 2012.
Produced, recorded and mixed by studio wunderkind Burke Reid (Gareth Liddiard, Jack Ladder, Dan Kelly) at Big Jesus Burger in Sydney, both “See The Light” and “All Through The Night” offer documented aural proof of a continually evolving band at the height of its collective creative powers.
“See The Light” is primarily driven by a snaky bass line, the reverb rich vocals deliver a subtle but persuasive hook tempered by chiming delayed guitars. “All Through The Night” is a dreamy pop gem floating on a fragile falsetto vocal, its amphetamine bass pulse, broad sonic guitar brush strokes and sparse drumming burrow into the subconscious giving the impression that it may refuse to ever leave .
“See The Light // All Through The Night” is released on February 6th 2012 exclusively through iTunes and Bandcamp: iTunes , The band will be playing shows in ADEL, MELB & SYD throughout March / April to launch the single.
