US R&B singer Usher will release his long-awaited 5th studio album - Here I Stand - in May 2008, more than four years after the release of his hit Confessions album.
Since the release of Confessions, Usher has become a father for the first time and this latest album tells a story of growth and marks a new period in the singer's life and creative expression. Many of the songs in this album illustrates the tension and challenges of balancing a very public life with private decisions; of being a sex symbol and entertainer with being a faithful husband and father.
The album will feature unique collaborations with stars such as Beyoncé and Jay-Z and other acclaimed producers/writers including Polow Da Don (Love In This Club), Jermaine Dupri, Dre & Vidal and Dream & Tricky Stewart.
