The Circus.....Starring Britney Spears

Yes, you heard right....Britney Spears is back on tour!!!!!! Now, I'm not necessarily a huge fan of Britney, but you have to admit that she does pump out some great dance songs on occassion....and besides, she's freakin' Super Sexy Hottttt!!!! That's why we've decided to create another new category called Sexy Ladies of the Music World. This category will contain reviews on sexy artists such as Britney, Madonna, Jessica Simpson, Christina Aguilera, and more. Britney's music falls into the Pop and Dance Music categories, but she definately falls into the Sexy Ladies category too!!!
There are dozens of Dance Remixes for Britney Spears songs....but for the purposes of this review, we are going to focus on two of the original singles released from her latest album, Circus. The album is one of Britney's better efforts, and has been compared to Madonna's Hard Candy. Circus debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200, after having sold more than 505,000 copies in the United States in it's first week. It was Britney's fifth number-one album, making her the only artist in Nielsen SoundScan history to debut with 500,000 or more copies sold on four different albums.
From it's synthy opening, to it's snappy stacatto beat, Womanizer, the album's first single, has been described as "retro-futurism". The song was released on September 26, 2008 to radio stations; and on October 15th, Womanizer made a record-breaking jump to the 1 spot on the Billboard 100 chart in the United States. The song also garnered the biggest opening-week tally ever by a female artist; with dowload sales of Womanizer topping 286,000. Here is the video on YouTube....
Another single to be released from Britney Spears' Circus album was If U Seek Amy. The song debuted on January 7, 2009, and climbed as high as number 19 on the Billboard 100 in the United States. With it's stomping robo-pop beat, If U Seek Amy is a great dance song. The lyrics even seem slighty "autobiographical", with Britney telling the world what she thinks of herself.
