SPECIAL SUNRISE PERFORMANCE RELOCATED

Monday April 26 - The Forecourt, Overseas Passenger Terminal, Circular Quay

Due to his overwhelming popularity, Sunrise will broadcast from the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay on Monday April 26, an area big enough to house Justin Bieber’s thousands of adoring fans.

In his only Australian public performance, Justin will be performing three songs from his new album My Worlds Australian Edition live on Sunrise, including the smash hit single “Baby”.

Date: Monday April 26 LIVE from 6am

Overseas Passenger Terminal
Circular Quay

Kochie, Mel and the team will present Sunrise live in front of Sydney Harbour, with the Canadian super star singing three songs throughout the morning.
Kochie and Mel will also interview the global phenomenon and after his performances Justin will meet with fans and sign copies of his new album My Worlds Australian Edition - for a limited time.

Seven's Director of Morning Television Adam Boland says it will be a morning like no other.This will be as big as it gets. We are over the moon Justin chose Sunrise for this gig. Bring it on.

After posting dozens of homemade videos on YouTube in 2007, where the multi-talented Bieber put his impeccable spin on songs from artists like Usher, Ne-Yo and Stevie Wonder, Justin racked up over 10,000,000 views purely from word of mouth.

"I started singing about three years ago," says the Canadian native who grew up an only child in Stratford, Ontario. "I entered a local singing competition called Stratford Idol. The other people in the competition had been taking singing lessons and had vocal coaches. I wasn't taking it too seriously at the time, I would just sing around the house. I was only 12 and I got second place."

In an effort to share his victory with his loved ones, Justin began posting his performance footage online. "I put my singing videos from the competition on YouTube so that my friends and family could watch them," he says. "But it turned out that other people liked them and they started subscribing to them. That's how my manager found me. He saw me on YouTube and contacted my family and now I'm signed!"

JUSTIN BIEBER CHANGES PERSONAL APPEARANCE LOCATION

Due to an unprecedented over-whelming response and online frenzy to the announcement that teen phenomenon Justin Bieber was heading to Australia and would be performing for his fans – Justin’s appearance planned for Sunday April 25 at Westpoint Shopping Centre in Blacktown, has been relocated to Sunrise, Martin Place on Monday April 26 from 7am.

Fans will have the opportunity to see Justin play his hit single “Baby” in a special acoustic performance. He will then make his way from the Sunrise studio to the Channel 7 store in Martin Place and sign copies of his new album “My Worlds - Australian Edition” for a limited time.
