Rogue Traders

The Rogue Traders were formed in 2002 and are currently one of the hottest Australian bands both locally and internationally.
The original members of the band, James Ash and Steve Davis, released their debut album in 2003 titled We Know What You're Up To and subsequently won an ARIA award for Best Dance Track for the song "One of My Kind".
Despite the success, the band never really took off until they returned in 2005 as a four-some with new members - lead singer Natalie Bassingthwaighte (actress - Neighours, Television host - So You Think You Can Dance Australia), drummer Cameron McGlinchey and Danny Spencer (Steve Davis left the band after the first album).
Armed with a new recording contract with Sony BMG, the Rogue Traders released Here Come the Drums and achieved immediate success through the album's first single, “Voodoo Child”. The single reached No.4 on the ARIA music charts, No.7 in New Zealand and No.3 in the UK and was nominated for three awards at the 2005 ARIA awards.
Other singles from the album, "Way to Go!", "Watching You", "We're Coming Home" and "In Love Again" achieved similar successes locally and internationally. Despite the album itself entering the ARIA charts at No.9, its enduring fourteen consecutive weeks on the charts saw it peak at No.2. It went onto become the six highest selling album for 2006 and was certified four times platinum.
After such a successful album, the next one was always going to be big shoes to fill but the Rogue Traders did just that with their third studio release, Better in the Dark, in 2007. The album cemented the band's status as one of the hottest current Australian bands by debuting at No.4 on the ARIA charts and achieved gold status in just its first week of release.
The album has spawned two hit singles thus far - "Don't You Wanna Feel" and "I Never Liked You".
