Hot Club De Paris
Hilarious and buoyant folk-punk stompers Hot Club De Paris have released a video for their new single "Sometimesitsbetternottostickbitsofeachotherineachotherforeachother".
That took up a LOT of room, didn't it? Anyway, the point is that PM was at the gig where the video was shot! Woop! No, that's not the point at all. It's a fantastic single from a fantastic band who have the charm and wit of men much more senior than them, but are youthful enough to fling themselves about the stage whilst managing to keep their Barbershop harmonies intact. This single is a perfect summation of that particular everyman charm. Go to their MySpace and listen to their wonderful songs. They're on the Moshi Moshi record label, which places them in the hallowed company of Architecture in Helsinki among loads of other wonderful artists. Which can only be good.
