IBIZA, SPAIN – Matinée Group, the award-winning, event-producing team behind the World’s Biggest Party announces today the debut of a brand-new New York City tradition: Matinée New York @ Governors Island.
On Saturday, June 26th, 2010, Matinée brings their signature light and sound spectacular on Governors Island, complete with superstar deejays, sexy go-go dancers, theatrical décor, death-defying aerialists, and surreal performers, all with the skyline of downtown Manhattan as backdrop.
For years, Matinee Group has been producing some of Europe’s most acclaimed parties:
Space @ Ibiza, the Matinée Summer Festival and the Matinée Winter Festival. Now it’s New York’s turn, thanks to a dream team of New York nightlife professionals, including Rob Fernandez (Pacha), Tommy Marinelli (Crobar/M2) and Benny Soto, committed to changing the way that New York works the night.
