Flobots are a Denver-based hip hop group that have been together since 2000, producing alternative hip hop with social conscious. You might be getting a little weary of preachy hip hop, but as long as hip hop has a powerful commercial presence, there'll always be the artists that want to push back.
This year, they came to prominence with a song called "Handlebars", which would appear to be about a guy riding a bike with no handlebars.
It's only after the music video got posted to Reddit did people start listening to the content of the song, noting that the video, an animated video, was chilling when matched with the lyrics.

"And it's tragic to me that the appetite for military innovation is endless, but when it comes to taking on a project like ending world hunger, it's seen as outlandish. It's not treated with the same seriousness."
