AC Slater at PARKLIFE 2010
It is Australia s biggest festival apart from Big Day Out, the festival that marks the start of the summer party season in Australia making Parklife the most significant dance, dance-rock and electronic event in the region and the biggest adult (over 18) festival.
Parklife has cemented itself as a key country-wide taste-making showcase, in recent years selling out over 130 000 tickets in advance. It attracts a hip, musically aware and rather sexy crowd.
Producers Fuzzy are the most successful music event company in Australia. They have built a reputation over the last fourteen years as Australia's greatest party-starter by continually amazing the public and raising the bar for the industry with spectacular events in unique venues, including festivals like Parklife, Field Day, Harbourlife, Shore Thing, and Summafieldayze.
AC Slater, aka Aaron Clevenger, has just released the club anthem Take You and is currently touring across the UK and Europe.
Based in Brooklyn, AC Slater is part of the Trouble & Bass crew - the speaker-wobbling independent label co-founded by Drop The Lime.
AC Slater has been gaining notoriety for his bass dominant sound and is becoming one of the most in-demand producers, recently banging out a slew of hard hitting remixes for The Prodigy, Little Boots, Boyz Noise and Moby.
AC Slater used to be one of America's biggest hardcore and freeform DJs but in recent years has cultivated a club sound.
His debut album is due out in 2011 and he ll no doubt be testing some of the material on the Parklife stage.
